Shannon Chapman

Director, Office of Student Affairs and Admissions, The University of Texas at Austin

Shannon Chapman brings over 15 years of experience in higher ed admissions and recruitment at The University of Texas at Austin and the University of System Administration. She is currently the director of student affairs and admissions at the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

Prior to LBJ, Shannon was executive director of student lifecycle management at the UT System Administration where she helped develop and launch new undergraduate degree programs and student services across UT System campuses. She also served as senior director of education at the Texas Hospital Association where she planned and marketed executive education programs focused on healthcare policy.

Shannon also spent 11 years at the top-ranked McCombs School of Business where she held roles in enrollment management, marketing, admissions, and program management for the professional and executive MBA programs.
